Aluminum Youth
Baseball Bats provide more Power

Most young players use aluminum youth baseball bats, but basic wood bats are still used. Aluminum bats offer more power and are lighter. Price is about $30-200.

The two big differences between youth bats and adult bats are the length of the bat and the bat weight.

The Easton Stealth CNT Baseball Bat uses Easton's exclusive Scandium alloy, the strongest and toughest alloy on the market. It has a 29/32" tapered handle with a cushioned grip and a 2 1/4" barrel. Demarini F2 Youth Bat features a 2 1/4" barrel, -10 weight drop. Sizes available: 29"/19 oz, 30"/20 oz and 32"/22 oz. Price is about $200.

Brett Brothers Youth Model Wood Bat is made of hardwood. Sizes available: 28", 29" and 30". It has a 2 1/4" barrel and 15/16" handle with black finish. Price is about $50.
