Most young players use aluminum youth baseball bats, but basic wood bats are still used. Aluminum bats offer more power and are lighter. Price is about $30-310.

The Rawlings Plasma youth bat features a one piece design and it is made with the durable Plasma alloy. Price is about $60-65.
