Louisville Slugger youth baseball bats are made with the same technologies as the adult baseball bats. These are some of the technologies :

• The 3 piece technology strengthens the link between the barrel and handle.
• The barrel technology uses thinner graphite fiber, which allows to add more layers of strength and reduces the overall thickness of the barrel's wall.
• The inner barrel technology keeps the barrel's wall thin and helps give bats a bigger sweet spot.
  

The Attack three piece composite bat features a lighter swing weight and reduced vibration. It has a 2 1/4 inch barrel, synthetic grip, and a 7/8 inch standard handle. The length to weight ratio is -12. Price is about $160-200.

The Assault is a one piece bat made with a strong alloy. It has a 2 1/4 inch barrel, synthetic grip, a 7/8 inch standard handle and a 2 color end cap. The length to weight ratio is -13. You can choose a length from 27" to 31". Price is about $85-100.

The Warrior is a one piece bat constructed with a 7050 alloy. Length to weight ratio is -13. Price is about $60-70.

Youth maple and ash wood bats are available. They feature a 2 1/4 inch barrel and a length to weight ratio of -8 to -13.5. Most youth wood bats are Little League approved. Louisville Slugger youth wood bats cost about $25-50.
